Park Slope Recommendations?

October 4, 2007

I’m playing house in Park Slope this weekend to dog-sit for a friend (the cutest, more lovable Golden Retriever named Molly). Anyone know of any good (not-to-expensive) restaurants I should check out for either breakfast or dinner? Or any other culinary delights I absolutely can’t miss?

  1. Design*Sponge just did a redesign, and I was looking at their guides, and they had one for Brooklyn, has a couple food suggestions at the top, plus some other cool things to check out, http://www.designspongeonline.com/2006/09/brooklyn-design-guide-2.html also from the creator of Bococa, http://www.brooklynnow.com/index.html I know, not entirely food based, but what do you expect from a designer.

  2. ill be there too! we should do brunch!

  3. YES! Go to Cousin John’s @ 70 7th Ave, Brooklyn.
    Don’t know how close you are but it’s worth it. They give you homemade chocolate bread with fresh berry jam while you wait for your food. Really small and cute, never too crowded. Go on sunday for the eggs benedict. MMM

  4. you probably already spent the weekend there, but i would definitely recommend:

    * al di la (italian)
    * sheep station (australian gastropub)

    all delicious! have fun!
